Bewl Marathon is Hermes Running's twice-yearly festival of trail running at Bewl Water — one of the south-east's largest reservoirs and a headline running venue for runners across Sussex and Kent. Two race days, each offering 10km, half marathon, full marathon and 50km ultra distances on a mix of woodland paths, country lanes and lakeside trails through the High Weald. Chip timing, aid stations, and a bespoke finisher's medal at every distance.

Bewl Water is a forty-minute drive from Rye — close enough to be at the start line fresh, far enough that the night-before stay matters. Stay riverside at The River Haven, race in the morning, and recover with a slow afternoon on Rye's cobbled streets and the harbour reserve.
