The centre of this medieval town is only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel.
Rye has a variety of shops, tea rooms, pubs and restaurants together with such features as the Landgate Tower built in 1325 as a defence against the French. Virtually the whole of the citadel area is a conservation area and includes churches, the Town Hall and a myriad of buildings of historical interest.
The Hotel is situated on the main A259 trunk road from channel ports. We are a short walk from the local train and bus station. Taxis are normally available at the train station during the day. Contact numbers for local taxis are available on request. Please note we have no Uber in this area.
Accommodation parking is from the A259 to the parking area in front of the premises that provides ample parking for each room. Additional parking is provided in the adjacent carpark.
