Bexhill Carnival is the town's flagship community summer event, an eight-day run of family activities, music nights and seaside events building up to a town-wide procession on the closing day. The 2026 edition runs 18 to 25 July with the theme 'Movies'; the Saturday 25 July procession sees decorated floats and walking groups tour the town centre, while Party in the Park at The Polegrove brings local band The Rockitmen as headliners. The carnival is volunteer-run with sponsorship from Hastings Direct and other local backers.
