Now in its sixth year, Spirit of Tenterden is the town's biggest free annual party — live music across two stages, street food, artisan makers, real ales and a fun dog show, all on the Recreation Ground at the heart of town. Volunteer-run, family-friendly and dog-friendly.
Tenterden is 25 minutes from Rye through the Wealden lanes. Avoid the drive home after Saturday-night music — book a riverside room at The River Haven.
