The Ashford Food and Drink Festival is Ashford Borough Council's one-day showcase of Kent producers, threaded along the half-mile of streets and squares between the town's High Street and Elwick Place. Saturday runs from 10am to 7pm — street food, live cooking demonstrations, a Cardboard Café for children, street theatre and live music. The Friday evening before is the 'An Evening with Wine Garden of England' preview, bringing the county's award-winning vineyards to the town centre to celebrate English Wine Week.
