A delightfully traditional summer show — Victoria sponges, championship onions, prize dahlias, jewel-coloured preserves, knitted things, photographs and bouquets, all judged by category and arranged on long tables in the Community Centre hall. Tea, cake and a raffle are non-negotiable.
It falls a week before Rye Jazz across town. Stay riverside at The River Haven and combine the two for a long August in Rye — book early, summer weekends fill fast.
