The stunning course winds through the ancient trails across High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in East Sussex, linking the Norman churches of Rye, Iden, Beckley, Northiam and Peasmarsh. This spectacular event starts off on the high street to the calls of the Town Crier and takes to the trail to explore historic woodland, orchards, quiet country lanes and breathtaking views of the coastline.
Rye Sports Centre is a fifteen-minute walk from the hotel through the centre of Rye, ideal for a steady warm-up out and a slow, satisfying stroll back afterwards. Rye fills early on September weekends, and there are only so many rooms in town within walking distance of the start line.
Stay at The River Haven
Rye Sports Centre is a fifteen-minute walk from The River Haven through the heart of Rye — a natural warm-up for the 30k and an easy stroll back afterwards to a hot bath and a slow Sunday recovery.
