Founded in 1998 by the Florestan Trio and now under the artistic direction of violinist Anthony Marwood and cellist Richard Lester, Peasmarsh is one of the country's most intimate chamber music festivals. Nine concerts across four days, performed in the small Norman parish church of St Peter & St Paul, with two Friday concerts moving into St Mary's, Rye for the fuller acoustic. Audiences are kept small and tickets sell out fast.
Peasmarsh is a ten-minute drive from The River Haven, and the two Friday concerts at St Mary's are a ten-minute walk from the hotel. Stay both sides of the festival and dip in and out without driving home in the dark.
Stay at The River Haven
Peasmarsh is a 10-minute drive from The River Haven, and Friday's two Rye concerts are a ten-minute walk away. Stay riverside and skip the dark drive home.
